Find where AI changes the work before you spend months changing the wrong thing.

Most organizations already have AI activity. Employees are experimenting. Teams are buying tools. Leaders are collecting use cases. Individual productivity gains are appearing across the business.

The problem is determining which of those gains should actually change how the organization operates.

The AI Work Redesign Sprint is a focused engagement designed to answer that question. We research how your people are working with AI today, identify the opportunities with the strongest business value, and work with your team to redesign the workflows worth changing first.

You leave with evidence, decisions, redesigned workflows, and a practical path forward. Not a generic AI roadmap.

Research Before Redesign

AI strategy often starts with what the technology can do. We start with what your people are doing.

We interview employees and leaders to understand how the work gets done today, where AI is already being used, which gains are producing meaningful value, and where those gains are getting absorbed by old processes. We look for practices developed by employees that should spread, places where quality or judgment require people to remain in control, and areas where new AI capabilities could change the workflow itself.

That gives leadership a view of AI grounded in its own organization rather than somebody else’s list of use cases.

Redesign What Matters First

Not every workflow deserves the same attention. We help your team identify the opportunities where redesign can create the strongest combination of business impact, feasibility, employee readiness, and responsible AI use.

Then we work through the decisions that matter. What should AI absorb? What should the employee continue doing? Where does human judgment need to remain in control? What steps can disappear? What new skills are required? What needs to change upstream or downstream? How will we know the new approach is better?

The result is a redesigned way of working that your team can test in practice.

What You Leave With

Depending on the engagement, your sprint can include:

  • A research-backed view of how AI is being used across the team
  • A map of the highest-value opportunities for AI-enabled work redesign
  • Identification of internal practices and champions worth scaling
  • Prioritized workflows for redesign
  • Redesigned workflows defining the role of AI and people
  • Human judgment and oversight requirements
  • Measures for determining whether the change is working
  • A practical pilot plan for the next 60 days
  • Recommendations for where AI Work Labs or leadership support would create the most value

The output is designed to be used, not admired.

Why Start With a Sprint?

AI makes it easy to start doing things. It does not make it easy to decide what is worth doing.

A sprint creates enough evidence to make those decisions without committing the organization to a long transformation program before you know where the value is.

It also creates a baseline. When AI capabilities change, you have a clear understanding of today’s work against which those new possibilities can be evaluated. That I

What Makes Us Different

Research-Led Work Redesign

Our work is backed by several years of research into understanding how real world organizations adopt AI in meaningful ways. We understand not just the tech behind Ai, but how real organizations actually adopt it, resist it, and scale the use of AI.

What This Means for You:
You get a plan grounded in evidence, not guesswork or hype.

Built for B2B

We focus exclusively on B2B organizations, where buying cycles are complex, workflows are cross-functional, and the stakes are high. We understand the realities of coordinating across product, marketing, IT, ops, sales, and finance. Agentic AI in B2B contexts requires particular care. Autonomous systems operating across sales, finance, and operations carry risks that consumer-facing deployments simply don’t.

What This Means for You:
Your plan for AI is tailored to B2B realities, not repurposed from consumer or generic playbooks.

Integrated with Training, Change Management, and Market Insight

We do more than set forth a plan. We connect your AI vision to practical enablement: team training, change management, and ongoing market insight as to what’s possible with AI. You don’t need one firm for research, another for training, and another for transformation when you are trying to figure out what’s “next” with AI for your org. That includes preparing your teams not just for the AI tools they’re using today, but for the agentic systems that are increasingly entering the enterprise.

What This Means for You:
You get a unified approach from insight to execution, so initiatives reinforce each other instead of fragmenting.

Guided by Fluid Intelligence®

Our proprietary Fluid Intelligence® model is a human-centered approach to AI direction. It was built for exactly this moment, when AI is no longer just responding to humans but acting on their behalf. Fluid Intelligence® ensures that human judgment stays at the center of agentic AI deployments, not as an afterthought but as a design principle.

What This Means for You:
Your people stay in control. AI becomes a capability you direct, not a force that dictates how you work.

Master the Art of AI Collaboration

As AI gets more capable, the quality of the result depends less on knowing the right prompt and more on knowing how to direct the work.

The Art of Asking is our framework for doing that well. It helps people give AI the context, constraints, examples, and judgment it needs to produce useful work, while making clear where human oversight still matters.

We use it throughout our AI work because better direction leads to better output, better decisions, and better workflows. It is one of the core skills people need as more of the work shifts from doing everything themselves to directing increasingly capable systems..

Here are just a few things you can learn from the Art of Asking:

How to Effectively Delegate to AI: Use the 5-element framework to manage AI like you would a capable colleague.

Workflows and Agentic Use Cases: Learn how to meaningfully manage AI driven workflows and Agents.

Techniques to Create AI Champions: Learn how to build internal champions who help AI adoption stick across teams.

About Cascade Insights® CEO

Research. Teaching. Real World Experience.

Sean Campbell, Cascade Insights® co-founder and CEO, has spent his career at the intersection of technology, business, and education. He has taught at Purdue University and Willamette University’s MBA program and currently teaches at George Fox University’s College of Business, where he serves as Director of AI Integration for the MBA program and teaches courses focused on AI, business, and human value.

That teaching experience matters because learning to work with AI is different from hearing about it. Every semester creates another opportunity to see where people get stuck, what helps them move forward, and how capability develops when people work on increasingly difficult problems themselves.

The same thing happens inside Cascade.

Our team uses AI in its own research and advisory work while conducting hundreds of interviews each year with professionals navigating changes in technology, markets, and work. That gives us three different views of the same problem: how AI is changing, how organizations are responding, and how people actually learn to use it well.

That combination shapes how we work with clients.

We don’t build our approach around a static collection of prompts or vendor demonstrations. We bring together current AI capabilities, research into how organizations are changing, and experience helping people apply those capabilities to real work.

Sean has also written technology books for Microsoft Press and Intel Press and delivered more than 150 conference sessions and workshops. But the credential that matters most to this work is the one that keeps changing: continuing to teach, research, and work alongside people as AI changes what they can do.

Our Fluid Intelligence® Approach

At Cascade Insights®, we live at the intersection of AI research and practice. We’re not just studying AI’s impact — we’re active power users of AI tools ourselves, which means we understand both their capabilities and limitations.

Our Fluid Intelligence® approach blends the speed and scalability of AI with the critical thinking, nuance, and context only human experts can provide. It’s the reason our insights go deeper and our recommendations carry more weight.

We’ll help you:

  • Distinguish signal from noise by combining AI-assisted data analysis with human-led synthesis.
  • Understand buyer behavior and sentiment with a level of context no algorithm can replicate.
  • Deliver recommendations that drive action, grounded in research depth and informed by practical expertise.

With Fluid Intelligence®, our goal isn’t to replace researchers or stakeholders with machines — it’s to empower them. By marrying AI’s efficiency with human insight, we deliver clarity where it matters most: understanding your buyers, your market, and your next move. Fluid Intelligence®, the goal isn’t to replace your teams — it’s to empower them.
